The NGO has pledges to reduce poverty, educate the local population about HIV/AIDS, improving the lives of the children in community by providing safe environment for the orphaned and vulnerable children in remote areas. Particular emphasis will be placed on caring for OVC, a population group recognized as neglected.
Services will be offered to OVC through several activities. These are detailed below.
Mobilizing the community is a key activity in attending to the project’s approach to community ownership. From day-one, the NGO will acknowledge and capitalize on the power of the community
Guardians will be cared for during home visits through the provision of Home Based Care (HBC) services. OVC also benefit from this service, as they will be integrated into the project through both eers and caregivers.

The NGO has pledges to reduce poverty, educate the local populace about HIV/AIDS, improving the lives of the CHILDREN in community by providing safe environment for the orphaned and vulnerable children in remote areas.
OFH envisions improving and sustaining the quality of life of the OVC (Orphaned and vulnerable children) through provision of education and psychosocial support programs.
Mainstreaming the Orphan, Semi Orphan and Street children in the national building by providing care, support & protection through shelter, food, and education is our mission.

- To provide support to HIV and AIDS affected or infected individuals, orphans, child-headed families, and vulnerable children.
